1.1 Delivery Inspection Notice (Must Read Before Signing)

Before accepting delivery, you must carefully and thoroughly inspect your kayak to ensure:
  • The product matches your order
  • No damage occurred during transit
When your order arrives, please ask the delivery driver to wait while you complete your inspection before signing.

1.2 Inspection Steps

  1. Remove all packaging
  2. Carefully inspect the kayak
  3. Check for any signs of damage

1.3 Major Damage Includes:

  • Holes
  • Dents
  • Cracks

1.4 If Major Damage Is Found, You Must:

  • Take clear photos as evidence
  • Ask the carrier to provide a detailed written description of the damage before signing anything
  • Return the damaged kayak to the driver
  • Contact us immediately at: support@kmerisnkayak.com        

1.5 If Minor Damage Is Found:

If minor damage is present, please:
  • Note the damage on the Bill of Lading
  • Take photos for documentation
  • Accept the shipment
  • Contact us at: support@kmerisnkayak.com

1.6 Important Notice

If no damage is reported at the time of delivery, or before the driver leaves, we will not be able to process any claims or provide compensation for damages afterward.
If Damage is Concealed or Not Immediately Apparent
If you aren’t allowed the time needed to inspect and even if the shipment appears to be in good condition at first glance, you may write “Subject to Inspection” on the delivery receipt before signing. This provides some room for submitting a concealed damage claim, though it is not as strong as a claim with visible damage noted at delivery. Claims for concealed damage can be more difficult to establish and collect on—so we strongly recommend fully inspecting the kayak while the driver is present.
If the shipment was delivered in your absence/without signature, the more time that passes the more difficult establishing a claim will be in the case of damages.
If the kayak was not fully inspected upon delivery:
  • Inspect the kayak thoroughly as soon as possible.
  • Take detailed photos and document any damage.
  • If there are damages, contact our customer service team right away at contact support@kmerisnkayak.con to begin a claim.
Please note:  if the product is signed for or the driver leaves the property without damage being noted, it is unlikely that Kmerisn Kayaks will be able to process a replacement.
